From the Mouth of Babes

I am home for the weekend and with all the nieces and nephews around we did brownies and ice cream for my birthday. At my house we have a rule: As many candles as you blow out, you get that many boyfriends. That hasn't worked for me the past 23 years, but I am certain that this is my year... Ethan likes this rule and was teasing me about it. I told him I was pretty excited about the concept. Caleb told me he would help me catch those 24 boyfriends. The nephews all started to come up with ways.

Justin thought I should put a fish hook in pizza or ice cream.

Ethan suggested a couple of options that sounded kind of stalkerish and included me hiding in his house when he gets home.

Caleb thought I should utilize a trick pinata to make him feel really strong.

Ethan and Joseph tag teamed for my favorite plan. Ethan suggested I write a lot of love letters. Joseph then suggested I use a fish hook and I think a pizza to lure him toward me. Ethan then added "and make kissy faces."

I laughed and said that sounded like a great plan.

"It works for kids in my grade..."
