Lately

It seems that my blog posts are more of the monthly variety... I will work on that.

Life is so so so good. I look at how the Lord has blessed my life so much. I have always loved Christmas, but the last two have been really hard because of life circumstances. It was so good to see how the He has helped me through those, how I am happy now. I am really happy. I guess it is true, we really need opposition in all things. Work is going really well. I love that everyone on our floor seems to be friends. I think I am starting to ramble. Know that things are going well.

Christmas was great. I had a lot of fun, wrapping, delivering presents and lets be honest... opening presents. I got some pretty great gifts, because they were very thoughtful (and independently awesome). I have a really cool family. Speaking of which. I love my little brother. It was really fun to talk to him at Christmas. We had pretty much everyone on a conference call so we could all talk to him. It was great. He is a good guy, the one that ends up with him is a lucky girl.

I have a new roommate, I think I mentioned that. I resisted friendship a little there, I guess I was feeling territorial? Anyway, I like her. She is pretty cool. And so friendly I couldn't not be friends with her.

Things

-I have a new roommate. I loved having my own bathroom...
-Its Christmas and so far no one is going to get anything. I am struggling to select gifts.
-I was at work until 8:00 pm tonight. Remember I work in an office.
-I am excited to go to the MoTab Christmas Concert. I am kind of stoked to see Katie do her thing. Amy seems to get tickets for me... She is cool.
-I got to go to lunch today with a friend I haven't seen in months. She is getting married next week.
-Julie and I were talking about baby names today. I plan to pray that Mary doesn't have boys until I have a fair shot.

It is kind of awesome that I can ramble in print.

Wow!

1. Its been almost a month since I blogged. Sorry Katie.

2. I don't know anyone in Salt Lake County other than my family and my coworkers. I had the Nissan Christmas party to go to last night. I needed a date. What did I do? Well on Monday night when a man I had just met tried to ask me out, I suggested Wednesday. He got dinner at Little America and I didn't have to go alone. Don't bust out the bridesmaids dresses...

3. I love Christmas. And I love that my mom puts money in my account so that I get to use her money and buy presents. She loves that she has some help shopping. Win win.

4. Maybe the weirdest thing you will ever read on this blog happened this week. My old boss approached me about an interior design job and I turned it down. I love interior design, and I love the Uintah Basin, but I am positive that the Lord placed me where I am. Even as I sent him a message declining it, I feel very much at peace with it. So yes my life has turned upside down. I not only live in the town I never wanted to live in, work for a company I once loathed (Okay to be fair it was just my position that I loathed. Guilty by association), and have all sorts of fun with the one sister I didn't get along with until I was in college--I turned down a job working with people I really like doing what I really love. And I am happy. Weird. (and it took me four tries to spell weird correctly)

5. Nice perk of my life: I have all sorts of Christmas Parties coming up that involve EXCELLENT food.
