Good Times

I guess 'cause it is fall, (and I don't like Halloween so I skip straight to Thanksgiving) I have been feeling incredibly grateful lately.

I was walking up to the temple today and I was thinking how grateful I am to have one so close--I could go everyday, but I usually go just once a week. I am so blessed to be part of an eternal family. A great heritage of people who came before me are linked together and to me. Someday I will get know Rachael--that has made such a difference in my life!

BYU-Idaho is amazing! I was sitting in devotional on Tuesday and the speaker was talking about joy, and how important it is--and how easy it is to obtain it. There are so many blessings that I have been given how can I not be happy? Elder Bednar spoke to us about 2 years ago. He said something that really struck me. The church gives so much to so few. I am one of those. How blessed I am. Funny side note my roommate Christine and I were walking past the new building that Elder Bednar was refering to, and she said that people are praying for good weather until the roof is finished. She is praying for the roof to take a long time! Oh I love Christine! Oh another funny: Chris had to sing in an opera last night--yeah he wasn't so excited about that. I was telling my roommates this and Melanie said, "it sounded like you said he had to sing in an opera tonight." Oh thats what I said. Enter Kayli, "What did he lose a bet or something?" Okay maybe you had to be there...

It is fall and it is a little windy, but not nearly as cold as it could be in Rexburg--Oh how I love my life!
