So I was thinking today about my past and the future. When I was little I loved the Jetsons. I remember Amy (I think it was Amy) telling me that someday our telephones would be like theirs--screens so you could see and hear the person. I couldn't imagine the concept. Hello web-cams! Another one of those futuristic moments occurred in Mrs. Bell's 7th grade math class. She predicted that one day we would all have to take laptops to college. BYU-Idaho requires all students to own a laptop now. It all seems logical and progressive now, but at the time it seemed so unreal.
