My friend Bre posted this week about what she wants to teach her daughter. After conversation with a different friend I thought of something similar:
If my daughter knows just three things, I hope they are these three things:
#1 She is a daughter of a very loving Heavenly Father. That He is always on her side.
#2 She has parents that absolutely love her-no matter what.
#3 She loves herself. Her value isn't determined by her social standing, that it isn't determined by what she looks like.
Those things will help her be able to say this, "I think I am awesome"
AND MEAN IT.

I dont know why this seems the applicable time to post this...
I was reading an old holiday newletter and it was when you were 6 or 7 and people were telling you how cute and great you are and mom writes and I quote, "I hope she doesnt get a big head" snap back to reality and your present moniker of Queen Lori....
Lori I think your list is dead on. Someday we should talk about it.
