- Take a class from MSF. (Thank you Nicholas) Basically I want to learn to ride a motorcycle. They let me learn on their bike, so I won't be worried about breaking someone else's (or my *hopeful*) bike. I did laugh yesterday as I was reading the guidelines. One requirement is balance. The rules dictated that I have to be able to ride a bicycle. I CAN I just don't...
- Skiing. I want to learn to ski. I have been a Utah Resident my entire life and I have never been skiing or snowboarding. What good is the greatest snow on Earth if I don't do anything but drive in it? I am going to learn. Jay promised to teach me, so did Nicholas. If they both fall through, maybe I will find a handsome ski instructor. Two birds with one stone ;)
- I am considering rock climbing. I don't think I want to be an avid rock climber. I just want to try it. So I might just do the indoor rock climbing this winter. This isn't a for sure on the list. I just think it sounds fun.
Anyone have suggestions? I guess they don't even need to be things I can "learn" but maybe things I can try. I do have a little list of places I want to go in Salt Lake.
- Planetarium
- Aquarium--real excited about this one.
- Utah Museum of Art
- Alpine Slide (Okay it is in Park City-but I have never been)
- Actually lets add some quality time in Park City. I mostly have just been to PC High School, Wal-Mart and the Outlets.
Want to join me in an adventure?

Hey there is an indoor place here called the Rock Haus. You could come visit and have a girls weekend.
Planetarium=Awesome. Well the light show anyway. I don't know if they still have them or not, but you should totally find out. I saw Led Zeppelin and it was awesome, but I'm sure U2 would be great too.
Maybe you should practice your balance before you take the class...do they have a class on balance? =o)
There is a sky resort 1/4 of mile from my house you might enjoy. The runs look more like sledding hills but for a beginner I bet they would work.
I have a funny story about the greatest snow on earth... After someone in Michigan found out where I was from, He asked me if it snowed in Utah. I said yes. He said he had always considered Utah as a part of the south.
You should check out This Is The Place Heritage Park. We went last year and had a great time.
Utah is part of the South huh? That almost leaves me speechless...almost.
Oh man--the alpine slides and coaster in PC are super fun. it's a must for you!
and--i'm new to SLC and want to do some of those fun things too----so if you want someone to go with....I'd love to!
When I was about your age, I had to hang my head in shame because even though I grew up in the Basin, I did not know how to #2 drive a stick shift, #2 I had never shot a gun or #3 caught a fish. I have 2/3 down now, but I still need to catch a fish. I'll go snowboarding with you if you catch a fish with me.
Is that weird to say, when I was about your age... Maybe.
Recorder strike it from the record!
