In a college town there is undue pressure to dress up. Its just not my thing. The girls at work did talk me into going to work as a thug. (Mostly I just got to wear my sweats to work.) I was helping do inventory in the parts department with a whole lot of people I didn't know. I am pretty sure most of em didn't know I was in costume. HA HA! I am way too white to be a thug!
Clint called right as I got off lunch and invited me to a little impromptu family get together.
BEST HALLOWEEN PARTY EVER!!!
We didn't have to dress up. We had over half of the family there. Clint and Kathryn made some fabulous Mexican food, and shared their trick-or-treat chocolate! I was sitting there realizing how glad I am that I live in Utah. I never got to do things like this when I lived in Idaho!
Mostly I am just really excited that it is November! I love it- AND now I get to SHAMELESSLY listen to Christmas music!!

Whoot! Whoot! I love that you are with me on the Christmas music. I hate that people are so scroogey about listening to it before Thanksgiving like it somehow takes away from it. When they come out with CDs and CDs of cheerful thanksgiving music i will gladly listen to it as well. But listening to Silent Night and Away in a Manger only make me more "THANKFUL" :)
I suppose I will shamelessly admit that I am so jealous of the family Halloween party. It seems that the loneliest place for a party was the actual Homestead this year. Everywhere we went, families were gathered together for a party. But the few McKee's left in town..grandpa spent the evening alone with the swine flu. Richard and Jelena spent it with friends. We went trick or treating and went to bed. then again, my kids had a blast trick or treating. it could have been worse.
