I am graduating in 82 days. Well like I have previously mentioned, I need to do something once I graduate. I am SERIOUSLY considering moving to New York for grad school. Weird huh? I have never been the one with the "New York dream"--truthfully I think DC is a much cooler city. It seems right though, so now I just have to see if I get in. I want to do Exhibition Design (museums, galleries, displays for large retail chains--but mostly museums). I am looking into FIT/SUNY. It is the Fashion Institute of Technology (I know Jelena is probably dying that
I am even applying to somewhere that says the word fashion :D) it is part of the State University of New York I guess. Anyway, like I said, Dad hates this idea. In fact when I told him he told me not to go because he and Mom are "declining" in years, and wouldn't I feel bad if I weren't here. Oh boy. They are mid fifties! I will keep you posted on that. I need to have a portfolio in by 2-15. Wish me luck.
Oh and on another note, Kelli and I were doing a few clogging steps in the living room the other night. Melissa (my roommate) asked Kelli why she was taking the class if she already knew how to do it.
Kelli: oh I don't know how, I just learned that today.
Melissa: No. THAT -> (pointing to me) looks like she just learned that today...
I think she tried to finish the sentence, but I was in the process of tackling her. And my earring got stuck in her sweater.
The End

wow NY would be awesome!!!! if you end up going there- do my a favor- get in to as many cabs as you see- and wait to see if it's "the cash cab"- a TV game show with general questions that tests your common knowledge- if not, get out, I hear cabs are really expensive. :)
I hope your ear is ok.
Two things: Dad CRACKS ME UP! I can just imagine him saying that
next: Getting your earring stuck in her sweater reminds me of the time you spit in your own ear...
Oh my, holy cow! New York? I am quite certain that Jason's reaction will be like unto your dad's. He is really protective of his sisters. I would selfishly miss you like crazy and my children would "not be happy". However, since we love you, we hope everything will work out and you be able to do whatever will bring you the most happiness. love ya! new york? wow, I thought Rexburg was really far away.
I say go for it! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. =)
.... and then you found twenty bucks!
:)
I totally am excited that you might go to NY!! I could come visit you! Good luck!
Um... I mean if you want to do that whole "you might die" thing, whatever. I'm with dad...and it would be nice to see you get to your declining years. still I like you...
Oh and....uh you spit in your own ear??? HOW????
Yeah so how about spitting in your own ear? Gross.
Good luck with your portfolio.
