Open Letter

Dear new kid in the ward,

You don't really know me yet, that's okay. I assume we will be friends later. I am guessing that because I like new friends, and I make friends with pretty much anyone who wants to be friends (and even some people who try to fight it.) In fact, I got called the ward cheerleader this week. I was grateful she clarified that to say "in a way people like"...

What you don't know about me is basically that. I make friends with everyone. I try to meet all of the new people in the ward. Me stopping you to introduce myself was just that. (Also you are shorter than me...)

I just want to give you a suggestion, if you are going to write about your new friends on your blog maybe you shouldn't have posted links to said blog on Facebook-especially immediately after "friending" the new friends in question. Actually, I take that back, I think I am glad you did. It made for very interesting reading.

Love Lori Jane

***Excerpt from Sunday's post:
BYU Idaho Girl is also pretty, seems fun, gave me her number, and liked my tie. Normally that doesn't mean anything, but she said so as I passed in an obvious attempt to get me to stop. Also, she wanted me to save a dance for her at the country swing fhe coming up. (Actually, I don't think I asked you to save a dance, I asked if you were coming. Again, you are new and I help plan FHE so I am encouraging attendance.)

***Excerpt from Monday's post:
Anyway, after the dancing, the "in" crowd invited me to get ice cream with them. Ah, the feeling of acceptance being washed down by chocolate ice cream crammed with peanut butter cups was great.

We all got to be bffs and later fb friends and all that stuff. (Maybe I should reconsider some of the things I'm writing...) (Yeah, maybe) We played "guess my middle name," which was an okay game and a first for me.

Mary just shared some photos with me. This was at Kyler's graduation. I feel compelled to post this even though it looks like I have something wrong with my eyes.

Sensing a theme here? I look like my leg is made of play dough and one is significantly longer than the other. It is funny though...
Here is my girl. Last night I asked her "Who is my girl?" She answered "Laityn" (Kyler's sister). Uh no.
Tulip Festival with Jelena and Mary. (Not pictured :D) I think this is the only one where all of the kids were looking. Cute huh?
