Music

My dear dear friend Kaulene loves music. She used to always love having us say a word and she would sing lyrics to a real song with that word in it. I remember thinking it was insane how much music she knew. I think I owned a couple CDs then...

Now I listen to music a lot. I spend a good portion of my work day with headphones in. It helps me stay happy. Sometimes it helps me stay distracted from things that would REALLY distract me from work (or whatever I am doing.)

Year in Review.

January
I love Puff. Yes, that is the only thing I blogged about last January.

February 
I tried sushi. I really tried. I also declared my crush on Noah Hartsock.

March
BYU Basketball and our attempts to get cake after the games. I have a hard time "being a girl" I really wanted a motorcycle. I confessed how crazy that boy makes me. Or more specifically how awkward I am around him. He made me shake I was so nervous. I gave him a bloody nose and fell in front of him multiple times.

April
I started spending time with a boy that carries a lizard in his pocket, and wears ladies pajamas. I also started country dancing (so I could spend time with a man I really like). I hit my "latin lover" in the face with my elbow. (In my defense he was shorter than me and twirling me around, which means he was in control of my elbow placement--not me) Handsome man and I started going on motorcycle rides. I decided not to buy a bike.

May
I started to get better at dancing. My latin lover developed a crush. I mountain of man did all of these lifts and whatever else when we were dancing. I got thrown around like a rag doll. It was crazy! I turned 24 and had my best birthday ever.

June
I went to the Hogle Zoo for the first time. (with a guy who wants to be a werewolf or a vampire--but not pop culture kind. He sincerly has always wanted this.)

July
I have a serious crush on Handsome Man. I taught Madilyn that I am her favorite-six months later she still remembers :) My dad got confussed about what words actually mean. He told us we were easy. I had one of the most fun nights ever (the night Handsome Man threw me in the pool). Some friends and I started parking lot karaoke. The cops thought we were drunk.

I got to go through the temple!!!

August
I decided to diversify my life. I want to experience more little things in the world around me. I also remembered how awkward I am.

September
I proposed to a stranger. He said yes. (don't get excited, it was a joke)

October
We pranked T-Bone by covering his cubi with business cards. He "just married-ed" my car. I went to my first REAL Salt Lake game. I also broke in to Sara's house. I lost my phone and I dressed up like my boss for my birthday.

November
Thanksgiving weekend was a blast. Litch-rally (that's how Kaulene says it). We went shooting. Of course we went Christmas Tree Hunting and had homemade donuts.

December
We discovered that the Handsome Man makes better gingerbread houses than me. I went to Idaho. I decided I need to reformat my words.

Bring on 2012. I really like how it is going so far ;)

You know what I have realized? Sometimes the things that make me craziest about people (and myself) are the things I like best.

Unrelated note: I LOVE having today off. I also love that it is so stinkin warm outside.

Another unrelated note: dear Sara, I decided that I don't want us to get married at different times. So let's plan the weddings within a couple of months of each other.
