Amber, I love all these cowboys too! :D

Geoff was kind of a pimp last night...

My new boots are sooooooo cute! Amber, I love you!

Travis's personal picture.

ahhh... the naked girls...

Sara and I have been looking forward to this for a while.

Leslie is a pretty devoted fan.

Last night we went to the Brad Paisley concert. We also got to see Easton Corbin. LOVE HIM. Steel Magnolia, Justin Moore and DARIUS RUCKER. Uh... he has a very nice voice. Really, you need to listen. Maybe stop reading and click this youtube link

It was a lot of fun to be doing one of my favorite things with my favorite people. (Dear Sara and Karalee, thanks for dancing with me :D) Oh, and Geoff won Clay Walker tickets for next week. So cool.

Ken Garff Corporate So Far

If only I had something more interesting to talk about:

1.  I need to learn to golf. My bosses got to take the day off to go play at the Brasher's Tournament. (Brasher's is an auction, so... its networking? I don't know, but they got most of the day off and were in shorts for the rest of the day.)

2.  I get free hot chocolate whenever I want! We have an coffee maker in the training room that makes individual portions of coffee. The guy that orders them is mormon... so... there are also hot chocolate options as well.

3.  Its easy to make friends when you bring cookies back after lunch. Doug and I conducted a cookie poll. Now I have a few more friends at work.  :D

4.  Remember how I worked with a man at the Ford store who bathed in cologne? My new coworker uses "essential oils" to keep himself from getting cancer and stay awake. This week his scents (which he applies to his forearms) were drumroll please... BLACK LICORICE, PEPPERMINT OIL, TANGERINE AND.... LAVENDER. Ha ha ha... he will never ever ever live that down.

5.  I feel like Dale Earnhart Jr every morning as I lap the parking garage to find a spot finally on the 10th floor.

Its funny

How a year ago if you had offered me a quarter I would have walked away from my reception desk and never looked back. I swore that when I left I was going to get on the PA system, say "Im outta here suckas..." and leave.

Today was my last day at Ken Garff Ford. And it was a long one. I was there all day! It was almost nine when I finished writing up detail instructions, copying files, cleaning out my desk etc...  So so weird. I was helping a lady with her Expedition. She and I have a fun friendship, in fact, I have even been to her house... She told me if she had any more questions that she would call. I walked away realizing I wouldn't be there, and was kind of sad not to have that interaction with the customers that I have had lately.

I said bye to Brandon and to Bob. Both of them have done a lot to create an opportunity for me to grow. It was weird. As I was saying bye, Bob said "its because you love us." And I do. I NEVER ever thought I would see the day, but I leave that place fond memories. As I look back those are the ones I see--not really the painful ones.

The Lord really did create an incredible growth opportunity for me. I didn't see it coming, I would have argued it with you if you suggested it, but this place has been really good for me. I am really excited to go to corporate. I will miss Ken Garff Ford in American Fork

And I announced my departure on the PA system when I left.

Digital Media Manager

This week has been sooooooooo soooooooooo crazy for me. Today I was offered a job as a Digital Media Manager at Ken Garff. I am going to have to learn to stop saying Ford at the end. I am now working for corporate!

Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Yeah that is right. I have been amazed to see how the Lord has blessed me once I finally let go, and really trusted Him. He knew all along. I had no idea. He really has taken care of me. And I am so so excited. So.... I am likely moving to Salt Lake. I just am not sure when.
